The Freelance Media Group began life over 20 years ago and is run voluntarily by Jane Corry and Beverly Davies. We are a group of journalists, writers, artists and other media people who meet once a month, to enjoy a sandwich lunch, a speaker, and a chance to catch up on industry news.

Meetings are friendly and informal, and recent speakers have included writers Fay Weldon, Katharine Whitehorn and Martin Bell. We have also enjoyed talks from the publishers of How To Books, and commissioning editors from publications including Essentials and the Daily Telegraph, and publishers including Hodder and Random House.

The cost of lunch is £15 for members and £25 for non-members. Space is limited so booking is essential. Should you wish to join us please email Beverly Davies.
